Quility’s Year in Review

Quility year in review giving back to community

In this Article

2020 was a year of transformative growth for Quility. From launching our digital platform for life insurance to giving back to our communities, here’s a look back on what made 2020 special for us.

Giving back on a local scale

Quility staff members worked hard to give back to neighbors near our Asheville, North Carolina office.

During the summer of 2020, Quility team members hosted a technology drive, gathering gently used cell phones and laptops for seniors who need access to technology for medical purposes, staying in touch with loved ones, and more.

Staff at Quility’s corporate office arranged a summer clothing drive for a local organization that provides safety, shelter, and support for victims and survivors of intimate partner domestic violence.

On Giving Tuesday, corporate staff also arranged a fundraiser and food drive to support Bounty and Soul, a local non-profit near Quility’s office in Asheville, North Carolina. Bounty and Soul provides healthy food, nutrition education and other resources to underserved communities in Buncombe County, North Carolina.

Virtual auction raises $260k

In November, our nationwide network of advisors and corporate staff members raised $260,000 during a virtual fundraising event themed A Night Under the Stars, benefiting Make-A-Wish Central and Western North Carolina.

The virtual event featured an auction, live music and special guests, including donations and auction items from carrier partners American-Amicable and Mutual of Omaha.

Proceeds from the event, alongside donations, raised funds to grant more than 40 wishes.

Celebrating a year of giving

Before joining forces, our agents represented two partner companies, Symmetry Financial Group and Asurea. In 2020, we combined the two to become Quility.

Before launching Quility in mid-2020, Symmetry Financial Group partnered with more than 30 non-profits and organizations near its Asheville, North Carolina office and beyond. These organizations included local partners like Bounty and Soul, Homeward Bound and Our Voice, regional partners like the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Western North Carolina, and the New York-based non-profit organization Charity: Water.

We are proud to announce that the combined efforts of our advisors and corporate donations raised a total of $405,000 in 2020.

We spent the past year giving back, serving clients nationwide and making great memories. We can’t wait to see what the next year has in store.
