Danielle Conklin, Quility Chief Information Officer

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Danielle Conklin, Quility’s Chief Information Officer, to the CNBC Technology Executive Council. This esteemed council is a members-only group of technology executives who support each other through knowledge sharing and discussions around the possibilities and pain points inherent to innovation.

In Danielle’s current role as CIO, she plays a key role in leading Quility’s platform evolution, leveraging cloud infrastructure, advanced analytics and data science to drive transformative initiatives.

Prior to joining Quility, Danielle held a pivotal role as Vice President, Portfolio Owner within the Chief Data Office at Prudential where she was responsible for enterprise-wide analytics and data science programs.

For over two decades, Danielle has held leadership positions focused on leveraging technology for impactful outcomes and advancing data ecosystems across impressive companies like Honeywell, Bloomberg and Merrill Lynch. Throughout her career, she has driven innovation and guided digital transformation efforts in business and technology.

As a member of the CNBC Technology Executive Council, Danielle now has the opportunity to share her own valuable insights and to learn from some of the brightest minds in a diverse array of technology-driven firms. She will have access to industry updates, training, peer-to-peer networking and so much more. We are honored to have Danielle represent Quility within the council and we look forward to benefiting as a company from the knowledge and outside perspectives she will acquire through this opportunity.

As part of the council’s communication efforts, their newsletter “TEC Talks” is distributed to members on a weekly basis.

Q&A with Danielle

Enjoy this Q&A with Danielle, featured in this edition’s “Get to Know a TEC Member” section!

Where did you grow up?
Long Valley, NJ (the Northwest part of New Jersey).

Where do you live now?
Green Township, NJ. A small town with about 4,000 residents near the Pennsylvania border.

What was your first job?
My first job was when I was 15 and I opened the new Wendy’s in town. My first job out of college was working as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch.

Name the last best book you’ve read or podcast you’ve listened to.
“All-in On AI: How Smart Companies Win Big with Artificial Intelligence”

Who do you admire most in tech?
I don’t have one specific individual; instead, I appreciate certain qualities. I have admiration for people who say what they mean and mean what they say. And people who have a genuine passion for their work, those who support their team, and stand firm in their beliefs.

If you weren’t in your current position, what career would you have liked to have had?
I often think I may have enjoyed a profession in law, following in the footsteps of my grandfather. Alternatively, a career in sports, particularly as an NFL coach, seems like it could have been very enjoyable.

What’s one lesson you learned early in your career that you still use today?
There were many, but as a leader, you possess the power to send people home feeling really good or really bad about themselves and their day. Make sure you send them home with a sense of fulfillment and positivity.

What’s something you want other TEC members to know about you?
I am very much looking forward to getting to know the other members of the council and in a collaborative exchange of learning and sharing experiences with everyone.
